I have 25+ years of career experience with the Diplomatic service and Corporates.  

I worked with Board of Investment – Mauritius (BOI) as their Investment Director for over 4 years managing the India office where I along with my team was responsible to attract, promote, and facilitate foreign direct investment from India into Mauritius across sectors i.e. ICT, BFSI, Pharma, Tourism, Manufacturing.

After spending 4 years at BOI-Mauritius, I moved on and joined Invest Australia, the Australian Federal Government agency responsible to attract foreign direct investment from across the world into Australia.   As Country Director for India, I was in-charge of promoting FDI from India into Australia across industry sectors.  I spent over 8 years with the Government before deciding to start my own consulting company ‘BeLocal’.

The first few projects that I was awarded in my consulting venture came from Oman (DUQM Free Port Zone) and Sharjah-UAE (Hamriyah Free Zone).  This was to assist the Free Zone to attract FDI from india across few selected industry sectors.  

An innovative and decisive business leader, I’m an ‘international problem solver’.  With an impressive track record of executing strategic objectives by leveraging international best practices and strong relationships. I have now turned to providing help and support to businesses that need it.
